Rehabilitation Services
The department provides comprehensive rehabilitation services in compliance with professional licensure laws and regulations. It is staffed by trained and experienced rehabilitation professionals who provide competent and goal orientated treatment specific to age and diagnosis.

Hours of operation
Rehabilitation Services is comprised of three (3) departments: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech/Language Pathology. Hours of operation:
Physical Therapy
Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. The Rehabilitation Director/Manager or a designated staff member shall be on call after hours.
Occupational Therapy
Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. Presently this service is contracted through an outside agency.
Speech/Language Pathology
Monday thru Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Respiratory Therapy
The Respiratory Care Department provides respiratory care services to patients ranging in age from neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult through geriatric. We provide a range of services that will meet the varying needs of patients in a caring and compassionate manner ranging from simple coughing and deep breathing, to care as complex as life-sustaining mechanical ventilation.
Hours of operation
The Respiratory Care Department is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to respond in a timely manner to all nursing requests for service.
Language Interpretation Services
The Policy of Desert Valley Medical Center is to provide Interpretation Services for any patient or family member who needs or requests this service, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Interpretation services on site will include non-english translation by telephone, non-auditory translation via TTY phone and non-verbal interpretation via CyraCom two-way video services. Procedure followed by staff is identified in the language and interpretation services plan for Desert Valley Medical Center.
