Family Medicine Residency
Message From The Director
The Prime West Consortium/Desert Valley Family Medicine Residency is a newly accredited 8-8-8 program that offers full-spectrum training to ensure our graduates can pursue any path available within the family medicine array of care.
Although a newly accredited program we seek to provide the highest level of training and education for our residents.
The residency is affiliated with the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM) where our faculty maintain academic appointments. This combination of academic affiliation and a community-based hospital system offers a unique learning environment where emphasis remains focused on the training and education of our residents. Medical students and other learners rotate within the hospital system and residency, offering our residents opportunities to participate in teaching.
We seek residents who are committed to caring for underserved and under-represented minority patients while achieving excellence in personal growth during their training.
